The Birth of the First Craft Workshop
The Birth of the First Craft Workshop
Angelo Aldegani, after a long experience gained in the post-war period as a tinsmith at companies in the province of Bergamo and Milan, starts his own business in the workshop at home. After a few years, following the growing popularity of stainless steel for bar counters, he specializes in this processing and lays the foundations of the “craft” that still characterizes the company today, more than 70 years later.
Following the involvement of the children in the business, Aldegani Angelo e Figli Snc was established in 1976, marking the original core of the current company. The company entered the industrial sector, recognizing greater growth prospects compared to the traditional world of “bar counters,” and it became necessary to move to a larger industrial facility (700 sqm) in Azzano San Paolo in 1993.

Thanks to the entry of his daughter Annamaria into the company, the business – led by Giacomo – continued to grow in the industrial sector through ongoing investments, particularly starting to design and produce the first frameworks for cabinets and enclosures in the petrochemical sector. It was during this period that the company moved to a larger owned facility (2003: Seriate, 1200 sqm) and purchased its first laser cutting machine for sheet metal (2006).
The continuity of management is ensured by the third generation – Andrea and Marco Lussana – who aim to continue the growth path of the past years, including expansion abroad, through new investments in machinery, equipment, and software.
During the two-year period from 2022 to 2024, significant investments have been made to internalize processes that were previously outsourced and to expand the production space (+4,000 square meters of covered industrial space).
